Grand Forks, ND
Grand Forks, N.D.'s second Continental Harmony project is a dialogue between Western European and American Indian culture through music and visual art. The commissioned composition will combine elements of Western classical and American Indian powwow music. The powwow was chosen as a theme because of the shared celebratory significance of this gathering to American Indians and to the greater Grand Forks community.
